Q Do you have a minimum order?
A No, you can order any quantity from 10 SQ Metre to 1500 Sq M or more.
Q Does the price include delivery?
A Yes, the price you see is a delivered price
Q Do you deliver Saturdays?
A Yes, although Saturdays incur a £25 sur charge, so many of our customers choose a Friday delivery.
Q Can I specify a time?
A You can specify A.M or P.M for an extra £10.00, this is over 98% successful
Q Does the price include VAT?
A Prices quoted are always fully inclusive delivered prices so there are no nasty hidden extras.
Q How much notice do I need to give for delivery?
A As long as your order is received before 2P.M. one day you can have delivery the next, we don't deliver
on Sundays or Monday's.
Q Do you deliver to where I live?
A We cover the whole country! Simply select the postcode where you want the delivery.
Q I have never laid turf before, can you give me some guidance?
A Laying turf is easy with a little planning ahead, please visit the Online Turf home page and click in the bottom right for a downloadable movie that will give you some great tips.
Q How much is delivery?
A The delivery charge is calculated by quantity, variety of turf, weight and the delivery postcode? The price you see includes delivery.
Q Will I receive an invoice or receipt?
A The confirmation email is your invoice and receipt.
Q Do you provide a laying service?
A Unfortunately we don't, but if we did it would be the best in the country!
Q How is the turf delivered?
A The delivery is kerb side, using a taillift offload.
Q Do I have to be home when the delivery is made?
A It can be arranged for the delivery to be left without a signature, we would need prior notice of this.
Q Do I need to use top soil underneath my turf?
A You only need top soil if your own soil is of poor quality or you need to make up levels?
Q What do i do with the pallet?
A Unfortunately the haulier doesn't re-collect the pallets, so we ask our customers to dispose of the pallet safely.
Q How do I use the fertiliser?
A Use this sparingly over the prepared ground, lightly rake over, lay your turf ontop and water in. Only use the correct quantity as per the instructions on the bag. Our fertiliser gets the new turf off to a great start and encourage fast rooting. Do be careful as too much fertiliser can damage the grass so if you have any over then simply make the bag airtight and keep safely until the lawn requires the next feed.
Q Do you supply other products?
A We have started supplying a range of gravels and crushed slates available from this site and Online Gravel. We also have a quality turf suppliers website at Buy Turf.co.uk. Another important addition to our range is Online Soil suppling loads from 25kg to 20 tons.
